If you can move the lever back to its original position (horizontal to slide), get a good grip of the frame, put the muzzle down on something like a carpeted floor and push down holding it till the frame meets the floor, hold it and lock the slide. If that works, you should be able to take down the lever from there.The mag is out and the slide is locked back but the damn takedown lever will not go to 6 o'clock position no matter how hard I force it. My thumb is bleeding at this point lol. Might not be the same, but for a while the 320s needed to push the barrel down or back slightly to allow the lever to drop. E. ERed1588If it's "out", you will need to try and grab the recoil spring and guide rod, and try to move it forward enough, to re-install the takedown lever. It will probably be easier to clamp the slide, in a padded vise, upside down, so you have your two hands to work with, while keeping the slide static. See more. The takedown safety level hooks around a little pin in the rear end of the FCU. This little pin is what move the sear up/down. Somehow the takedown level must have lost its grip to the little pin. The fix is to move the takedown level ...So I checked my P320 and with a magazine in it, I can only spin the takedown lever about that far and with pressure it can get stuck. But if thats not your issue, and its cleared of mag, release the slide back to normal, hand rack it a bunch of times, lock the slide back and see if your gas pedal can go fully down.
