It is because dasher direct is not really a debit card. It is more close to prepaid card but still it is like 90% debit card. That is why when you try to use it to pay for car rental and some other services that actually require real bank card, it wont take it. you dump ppl obviously didn't got gas from Costco before!

Its my go to gas station so I called and they basically told me they couldn't do anything about it. The day after I called it started working again. I haven't had a problem since. *knocks on wood.
